What's a skiinning, gang? Sounds like it would refer to a single round in cross-country (or downhill?) baseball.

I hadn't heard the term used in that form of baseball, rolig, but it makes sense. Thanks for enlightening me. My understanding is that skiinning is skiing on a skin. So banana skiinning is skiing on a banana skin. If the whole team gets it right first time, you don't actually need snow. Not so difficult as it isn't traditionally a 'synchronised' event.
I can't remember any of the other events that make up a bananathlon, can you?

Well, the banana boat race is usually one of the hotly (fudgewise) contested events of bananathlon.
